I tried to write out a little bio, but I’d rather just fill out thisĀ  ‘50 things’ meme. :P

  1. Your name spelled backwards: Anityam
  2. Where were your parents born? Dad = Toronto, Mom = Sparta (that’s right!)
  3. What is the last thing you downloaded onto your computer? New fonts
  4. What’s your favorite restaurant? On an ironic level, I love that ship restaurant by the harbor, but for everyday I really like Madrea on the Danforth.
  5. Last time you swam in a pool? August of this year, I love it!
  6. Have you ever been in a school play? I sang in my high school’s production of Miss Saigon.
  7. How many kids do you want? I have 2 and sometimes I think I want 4, but we’re probably done with 2.
  8. Type of music you dislike most? Country!
  9. Are you registered to vote? Of course!
  10. Do you have cable? Yes, the biggest package available, and hardly watch TV.
  11. Have you ever ridden on a moped? Yes.
  12. Ever prank call anybody? Sure, at sleepovers in grade school.
  13. Ever get a parking ticket? I’m not down with cars, so no.
  14. Would you go bungee jumping or sky diving? Probably not, though my Dad is trying to get me to go sky diving.
  15. Furthest place you ever traveled? Las Vegas.
  16. Do you have a garden? Yes, and I managed to keep my rose bushes alive all summer!
  17. What’s your favorite comic strip? Calvin and Hobbes/Questionable Content
  18. Do you really know all the words to your national anthem? Yes!
  19. Bath or Shower, morning or night? I take showers at night.
  20. Best movie you’ve seen in the past month? Hmm. I liked Resident Evil Extinction.
  21. Favorite pizza topping? Chicken.
  22. Chips or popcorn? Popcorn.
  23. What color lipstick do you usually wear? Mostly hardly there pink.
  24. Have you ever smoked peanut shells? I’m sorry, what?
  25. Have you ever been in a beauty pageant? Yes, and get this – I won!
  26. Orange Juice or apple? Orange.
  27. Who was the last person you went out to dinner with and where did you dine? Brigitte and I went to dinner on the Danforth.
  28. Favorite type chocolate bar? 3 Muskateer Bars.
  29. When was the last time you voted at the polls? In October for our provincial election.
  30. Last time you ate a homegrown tomato? Last week, I love (most of) my neighbours!
  31. Have you ever won a trophy? Yes, for that beauty pageant.
  32. Are you a good cook? I am fantastic.
  33. Do you know how to pump your own gas? Again, not down with cars, so it’s not my own gas, but I regularly pump for others.
  34. Ever order an article from an infomercial? Yes.
  35. Sprite or 7-up? Sprite.
  36. Have you ever had to wear a uniform to work? Many times, except in bars it’s not uniform like you’d except, just micro minis and back shirts, and tuxedo shirts for bartending banquets.
  37. Last thing you bought at a pharmacy? Children’s Tylenol.
  38. Ever throw up in public? Um, yeah, let’s not talk about that.
  39. Would you prefer being a millionaire or find true love? True love all the way.
  40. Do you believe in love at first sight? Not till it happened to me over a decade ago.
  41. Ever call a 1-900 number? No.
  42. Can exs be friends? I really doubt it and have never tried.
  43. Who was the last person you visited in a hospital? My mother after her heart attack.
  44. Did you have a lot of hair when you were a baby? Yes! Lots of thick dark hair.
  45. What message is on your answering machine? Me saying ‘Hey, you’ve reached [phone number], leave a message and we’ll call you back’.
  46. What’s your all time favorite Saturday Night Live Character? The Lunch Lady Chris Farley used to do!
  47. What was the name of your first pet? Ashes, a gray cat.
  48. What is in your purse? Ha! 2 diapers, a small pack of wipes, tissues, my PDA, keys, lipgloss, a sock I’m knitting, granola bars and band aids.
  49. Favorite thing to do before bedtime? Shower & knit a few more rows.
  50. What is one thing you are grateful for today? That I have such an amazing family and wonderful friends.
